Kia India has announced a portfolio-wide price hike from 1st Jan 2025. The entire lineup of KIA India will witness the price hike starting from the entry-level Sonet to the flagship EV9 of up to 2% on their respective Ex-Showroom prices. Kia gives credit for these price hike to rising commodity prices and increased supply-chain-related costs.

Currently, the OEM is offering great year-end discounts on all the cars across the lineup, so customers planning to take home a Kia car in the coming months should consider getting one this month only. Currently, Kia India has 6 cars in its portfolio including the Sonet, Seltos, Carens, Carnival, EV6, and EV9, joining the list will be the Kia Syros which is going to launch on 19th Dec and is expected to go on sale from early 2025.

Commenting on the price adjustment, Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President of sales and Marketing, Kia India said, “At Kia, we are committed to delivering exceptional, technologically advanced vehicles of the highest quality to our valued customers. However, due to the persistent rise in commodity prices, unfavourable exchange rates, and increased input costs, a necessary price adjustment has become unavoidable. Despite these challenges, Kia is absorbing a significant portion of the cost increase, minimising the financial impact on our customers, so they can continue enjoying their favourite Kia vehicles without a major dent in their pockets”.
