Hyundai has revealed one more SUV continuing the same design language just a few days after revealing the IONIQ 9 SUV. Hyundai has revealed the second generation of the Palisade SUV in South Korea. The flagship SUV has received mid gen updates several times in the past few years but this time it has got a generation update with all new powertrain options and new sitting layout options. It is one of the biggest updates Palisade has received till now.
The SUV is also based on the OEM’s new design language. The new Palisade features a more upright and muscular stance compared to its predecessor. At the rear, the SUV sports new vertically stacked tail lamps with a segmented design that mirrors the DRLs. A spoiler crowns the tailgate and the bumper incorporates a faux skid plate element for a touch of sportiness. It will get 3 powertrain options with also an option of a Hybrid powertrain for the first time. It will be powered by a 3.5-litre six-cylinder petrol, a 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol, and a 2.5-litre turbocharged hybrid powertrain with an all-wheel drive option.
It also gets an option of 9 9-seater layout for the first time. In the interiors it get’s a very simple and minimalistic look with a premium appeal. The feature list includes Level-2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear occupant monitor, a 12-speaker sound system, USB-C charging ports, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
