Kia India has officially revealed the Syros, its latest compact SUV designed to slot between the popular Sonet and Seltos models. The Syros will be available for bookings starting 3 January 2025, ahead of its anticipated market launch in the coming month.
The Kia Syros offers buyers a choice of six variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). Complementing this lineup is an impressive palette of eight exterior colours, including Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, and Frost Blue, ensuring there’s a style to suit every taste.
Designed with a focus on luxury and technology, the Syros comes loaded with features aimed at enhancing comfort and safety. Inside the cabin, dual 12.3-inch displays serve as the infotainment and instrument cluster, creating a sleek and modern interface. Both front and rear seats are ventilated for added comfort, while automatic climate control ensures a pleasant driving environment. The rear seats can recline, adding to passenger convenience, and a panoramic sunroof elevates the overall cabin experience.
Kia has also equipped the Syros with advanced safety features, including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a 360-degree camera, providing drivers with enhanced visibility and security. The new steering wheel design, complete with an off-center Kia logo, adds a distinctive touch to the interior.
The Syros offers two engine options to cater to different driving preferences. A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine is available with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). For diesel enthusiasts, the 1.5-litre engine is paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic, ensuring smooth and efficient performance across the board.
