Maruti Suzuki Swift finally makes a big comeback after the launch of its facelift last month. Maruti Suzuki Swift was the most sold car in May 2024 with over 19,000 units sold in a single month. Maruti Suzuki has 10 cars in the top 10 list while Hyundai and Mahindra have 4 each, 3 from Tata and Kia and 1 from Toyota.
Maruti Suzuki Swift leads the chart thanks to the recently launched facelift. The hatch now comes with a 1.2L NA Petrol Engine with a 3-cylinder configuration improving its fuel efficiency drastically. It comes with a claimed fuel efficiency of over 25 Km/L. Following Swift in the second position is the Tata Punch retailing at 18,949 units. On the third position, we have the Maruti Suzuki Dizre with 16,061 units sold. The sales of the Suzuki Dzire are expected to go up even further as its 2024 facelift is in the pipeline and will be out soon.
Surprisingly the Hyundai Creta is on the fourth spot. Its the only Hyundai in the top 10 list. Since the launch of the latest gen Creta it is leading the segment with a significant margin. The only new car in the list is the recently launched XUV 3XO. Since its launch the car is performing quite well in terms of sales figues. It is one of the most equipped cars in the segment. It is the only car which comes with Level – 2 ADAS.
